 Cheryl O'Bryan

Cheryl is the new UDA State Director for Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, & Tennessee. Cheryl can help you throughout your entire season in numerous ways. Here are just a few of the many things that Cheryl can do for you:
-Help you select judges and prepare for your teams tryouts
-Help you choose the best summer camp for your team
-Register your team for camp
-Register your team for any regional competition
-Update your invoices/registrations if you have changes that need to be made
-Provide the tools you need to start, build, and maintain a successful dance team program at your school or in your community.
Although Cheryl is new to this position, she is no stranger to dance or to UDA. Read below to learn more about Cheryl!

-Job You Had Before UDA: I have been employed with UDA since graduating high school as an instructor, a judge for various state & national competitions, and as a choreographer for more than 20 high school & college teams across the country. I have also had jobs waitressing & hostessing. Being a full time student is a job in itself! But my heart has always been with UDA & will be for a long time.
-Best Moment in the past 3 years: It is really hard to pinpoint one best moment for me because I have lived over seas in Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, and Denmark and have experienced so many things and have visited cities and countries one may never in a life time. But if I had to narrow it down to just one moment it would be getting offered a full time position with the best dance and cheer company in the world!
-Favorite Place to eat when money is not important: Charlie Palmer's Steakhouse in Reno, NV. BEST food that you could EVER put into your mouth!
-Your friends would use what 3 words to describe you: Funny, Passionate, and hardworking.

-Favorite Comedian: Ellen DeGeneres
-Favorite Style of dance: Hip Hop
-Advice or thoughts for coaches/advisors: My best advice is to be the backbone for your team. Without you, they are lost. Be the one they look up to, come to for help, and seek out for advice. Be supportive, encouraging, kind, determined, and discipline them in a respectable way. Being a dance coach/advisor will be challenging, but it will also be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life! Build a life time of memories with you team, and have fun
