Julie is the UDA State Director for Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Julie can help you throughout your entire season in numerous ways. Here are just a few of the many things that Julie can do for you:

-Help you set up judges for your teams tryouts
-Help you choose the best summer camp for your team
-Register your team for camp
-Register your team for any regional competition
-Update your invoices/registrations if you have changes
-Provide the tools you need to start, build, and maintain a successful dance team program at your school or in your community.

-Over 20 years of dance experience
-1999 UDA National Champion
-Coached junior high & varsity level teams

-Coached non-competitive & nationally competitive teams
-Coached both all-star & school teams
-Created and ran an all-star program
-Over 8 years of choreography experience
-Judge for UDA & other Varsity Brands
-UDA National Account Specialist from 2006-present
-UDA Nationals Contact (teams M-Z)
-UDA Website Content Manager
-UDA Program Committee Member
-Helped create & launched the new uda.varsity.com
-Wrote Handbook for New Dance Team Coaches
-Currently works at the UDA International Headquarters in Memphis, TN

-Hometown: Germantown, TN
-Education: University of Memphis Graduate- Bachelor's of Science in Integrative Studies
-Job you had before UDA: Coaching and choreographing for great teams in the South
-Best Moment in the last 3 years: Getting married! I married my best friend, Christopher, on 12/5/2009.
-Favorite place to eat when money isn't important: Texas de Brazil
-Your friends would use what 3 words to describe you: caring, hardworking, goofy
-Best dance show on TV right now: So You Think You Can Dance
-Favorite comedian: Jim Gaffigan
-Favorite style of dance: Jazz/Contemporary is my favorite to do, but hip hop is my favorite to choreograph
-Advice or thoughts for coaches/advisors: Don't try to do everything yourself! Let me help you! And whether you know it or not, you are having a huge impact on the lives of the kids that you coach/work with. Remember that nothing is more rewarding than sharing what you love with others and watching it become their passion.
