Julie Blaydes

Julie is the new UDA State Director for Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Julie can help you throughout your entire season in numerous ways. Here are just a few of the many things that Julie can do for you:
-Help you set up judges for your teams tryouts
-Help you choose the best summer camp for your team
-Register your team for camp
-Register your team for any regional competition
-Update your invoices/registrations if you have changes
-Provide the tools you need to start, build, and maintain a successful dance team program at your school or in your community.
Although Julie is new to this position, she is no stranger to dance or to UDA. Read below to learn more about Julie!

-Education: University of Memphis Graduate- Bachelor's of Science in Integrative Studies
-Job you had before UDA: Coaching and choreographing for great teams in the South
-Best Moment in the last 3 years: Getting engaged! I'm marrying my best friend, Christopher, on 12/5/2009.

-Favorite style of dance: Jazz/Contemporary is my favorite to do, but hip hop is my favorite to choreograph
-Advice or thoughts for coaches/advisors: Don't try to do everything yourself! Let me help you! And whether you know it or not, you are having a huge impact on the lives of the kids that you coach/work with. Remember that nothing is more rewarding than sharing what you love with others and watching it become their passion.
