Paula is the UDA State Director for Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Paula can help you throughout your entire season in numerous ways. Here are just a few of the many things that Paula can do for you:
-Help you set up judges for your teams tryouts
-Help you choose the best summer camp for your team
-Register your team for camp
-Register your team for any regional competition
-Update your invoices/registrations if you have changes
-Provide the tools you need to start, build, and maintain a successful dance team program at your school or in your community.

Dance & UDA Experience
-Three-time Miss Dance Drill Team USA Pageant competitor -Former University of Iowa Hawkeye Dance Team member -Former UDA head instructor -With UDA as a teacher, choreographer, & State Director for over 15 years -Choreographs & private-coaches several state- and nationally-ranked dance teams -Was the Technical Analyst for the 2006 College Dance Team Championship television show as seen on ESPN (as pictured to the left)
Get to Know Paula:
 -Hometown: Glenview, IL
-Education: University of Iowa Graduate, BA in English with a minor in French
-Job you had before UDA: I did a lot of long-term temping as an administrative assistant and document coordinator right out of college. I strongly recommend it... I learned a LOT.
-Best Moment in the last 3 years: The waterbirth of my oldest son, Otto, on August 26, 2006!
-Favorite place to eat when money isn't important: Green Zebra in Chicago. I'm a vegetarian with a penchant for modern design, so the food and decor are my favorites.
-Your friends would use what 3 words to describe you: Organized, strong, and silly!
-Best dance show on TV right now: Dancing with the Stars
-Favorite comedian: Margaret Cho
-Favorite style of dance: I love pom, especially choreographing it. Creating cool visual effects while incorporating elements of jazz and hip hop is like solving a fun puzzle for me.
-Advice or thoughts for coaches/advisors: Never underestimate the impact you have on your team members. You are a huge component of their life experience, almost like a third parent. The lessons you instill in them will last a lifetime, even if they never dance again.
